The award is the latest addition to a string of honors for the cutting-edge product, including iF design award of Germany, CES innovation award of the U.S., silver prize of Taiwan Excellence Award, Golden Pin Design Award, and Golden Award for top 100 innovative products of the information-technology month in Taiwan, all in acknowledgement of its unique design featuring incorporation of the electrostatic diaphragm technology of high-end stereo into foldable twin wings, two-way sound production, delicate sound quality, and unique appearance. BenQ treVolo has been developed in cooperation with the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), Taiwan’s foremost industrial-technology research body. It combines the advantages of electrostatic loudspeaker and conventional cone loudspeaker, creating sound with pure quality, precise tone, transparent surrounding, and multiple details, as well as thick and solid base tone, on top of distinction and balance for the entire range of high, medium, and low sound. Moreover, BenQ invited professional tuners with over 25 years of experience from the U.S., Japan, and Taiwan to tune the device, enabling it to achieve optimal sound quality.
