Sydney, Australia – September 22nd, 2016 – The ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND Asia CS:GO 2016 tournament is set to take place today, September 22nd, in Shanghai, China, starting at 1pm AEST.
The ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND tournament will feature ZOWIE, the brand that represents BenQ’s commitment to eSports, as the title sponsor and official monitor provider in the upcoming tournament.
The Renegades were selected to represent Australia against 15 of the best teams from across the Asia-Pacific region. The team was seeded into Group C alongside Ehome (China), NXL (Indonesia) and Rascal Jester (Japan).
Day 1 of competition will feature 8 Best-Of-1 matches from all 4 Groups, with the Renegades taking on Ehome at 4pm AEST. The Winner of each match will proceed to the winner’s bracket, with the losing team proceeding to the Losers Bracket 1.
The event’s English coverage of the main stage will broadcast live on Twitch on the official eXTREMESLAND Twitch channel.
