While connecting multiple monitors via MST (Multi-Stream Transport), the second monitor can not be displayed correctly. How can I fix this?

05-31-2024

This function is not available on Macbook series products.

MST does not support connecting via HDMI cable.

Please follow the below steps to solve the issue:

  1. Make sure the graphic card on your computer supports DP 1.4 for MST, and upgrade the driver to the latest version.
  2. Download the latest version of Display Quickit from the BenQ official website and update it to the latest F/W version of your monitor.
  3. Connect your laptop to the USB-C™ / DP port on the first monitor using a USB-C™ / DP cable.
  4. Connect the second monitor to the first one using a USB-C™ cable.
  5. Go to Menu > Coding Booster > MST > ON. Note the OSD menu can be launched and configured only when the input signal is detected.
  6. Please check that monitors and laptops are unplugged from unnecessary devices to ensure that no resources/bandwidth are occupied.
