Why is BenQ Home Projector’s 4K resolution a True 4K?

True 4K UHD must deliver 8.3 million pixels on the screen. Please click and follow the instructions below, or read on to learn more about this topic.

According to criteria set by the CTA (Consumers Technology Association), 4K UHD must deliver 8.3 million pixels on the screen in order to be considered True 4K resolution. By harnessing the most advanced DLP DMD (Digital Micromirror Device), our projectors utilize millions of micromirrors with quick adjustment speeds, as well as the advanced image processing capabilities of the DLP 4K UHD chipset to achieve CTA’s 4K UHD specifications (8.3 million distinct pixels for each frame), resulting in four times the resolution of Full HD 1080p.
