Why don't my connected Mac devices such as Mac mini, MacBook M1 Pro, MacBook M1 Max, Mac Studio M1 Max, and M1 Ultra synchronize with my BenQ monitors when I use Display Pilot through an HDMI port?

Regarding synchronization issues between BenQ Display Pilot software and Mac devices with M1 architecture, we have important updates to share: Apple has officially verified that existing Mac mini, MacBook M1 Pro, MacBook M1 Max, Mac Studio M1 Max, and M1 Ultra models do not offer support for DDC/CI (Display Data Channel Command Interface) through HDMI. Consequently, MacOS can’t establish communication with monitors that rely on DDC/CI commands via HDMI, which includes the entire range of BenQ display products.
