Why does the light turn off first and then turn back on when connecting or removing the power cable in the ON state?

When connecting the cable, the light will turn off for 2 seconds and then turn on again, indicating that LaptopBar is being powered externally and not consuming battery power.

When removing the cable, the light will turn off for 2 seconds and then turn on again, indicating that LaptopBar is being powered by its battery.
