The BenQ monitors enable me to be precise in my work. I no longer miss any details. Since I started using BenQ monitors, I've had no unpleasant surprises concerning my colors and the overall rendering of my images.

What challenges do you face as a fine art photographer, and how do you overcome them?

The fear of running out of inspiration. Sometimes I wonder if my choices were the best ones. That's why I try to give 100%, no matter what the project is. I often set up last-minute projects in my spare time to get out of my comfort zone, which helps me keep the creative juice flowing.

Do you have any advice for someone learning photography? What would you like to say to those aspiring to become photographers or video creators/designers?

Keep on creating, no matter what… Don't let your camera collect dust!

Do you remember your first piece?

Not my first one, but the one that required a lot of preparation and multiple attempts for the first time. Huge flying fabrics, with a circus artist sitting on top of a chinese pole. I'll do things differently today, but this first one gave me a clearer idea of the direction I wanted to go in.

What is one of the most interesting stories or experiences you’ve had in your career?

I ran out of inspiration in 2016, leading me to leave my home town and apartment, sell almost everything I had to live in an RV, and tour France and the border countries for 9 months. It didn’t end well, me and my wife got robbed in Prtugal… But overall it was one of the best personnel experience of my life.

Have you ever thought about what you would be if you weren’t a photographer?

I would probably be a musician, or at least work in the music industry.

During shooting, do you have a specific ritual or habit that helps you get into the “photography mindset”?

I often listen to a classical or jazz piece 10 minutes before an important shoot. It helps me focus, and reduces my stress.
