I’ve had the BenQ TK700STi for 9 months. I still love it. I upgraded from the Optoma GT1080. I still love it. My setup is an Alienware i7 12th Gen, RTX3080 and 64GB RAM and Uneekor QED. I have a 14x9 All Sports System premium screen and run 16:9 aspect ratio. I run GSPro, TGC2019, Creative Golf and Refine. The projector is ceiling mounted about 10’ high and 12.5’ from the screen and this fills the screen completely.
.
I have a fair amount of ambient light in my room and the brightness is set to about 70%. This gives me more than enough brightness and contrast and still be able to run highspeed swing cams. The color and detail are amazing. My friends were amazed when they first saw it. They thought it was the coolest thing how real everything looked. It makes everything look very realistic and less like video game.

The short throw flexibility of the TK700STi was definitely a deciding factor on my mid size golf sim setup. Do I think the BenQ TK700STi worth it? Yes, I do, especially if you buying your first projector and are already spending the money. It’s a 4K projector that is still short throw which is needed in many golf sim setups. I upgraded and still would do it again.
