FAQ: How to setup ideaCam and connect with Enspire

Follow these steps to ensure your ideaCam is properly connected and configured to work with Enspire.

1. Ensure your internet network is working properly. An inconsistent network connection may degrade the performance of ideaCam in Enspire.

2. Reset both EnSpire and ideaCam (re-insert ideaCam USB cable into the computer).

3. Make sure the camera option is activated in Windows(or macOS), and then re-connect the ideaCam to the computer.

4. Authorize ideaCam and its microphone to work with EnSpire.

5. Ensure there no applications running which may block access to Enspire. For example, some video conference platforms could block camera access. Therefore, close other video conference software programs and windows, and refresh the EnSpire page in your browser.

6. Update the browser to the latest version.

 

 If ideaCam still fails to connect - attempt to connect it to a different computer. If ideaCam still does not connect, please contact BenQ customer support.
