2024/11/13
Regardless of your MacBook model or the type of chip it uses, the BenQ Hybrid Dock expands multi-monitor support for your MacBook.

How do BenQ monitors for MacBooks achieve high color consistency?

The BenQ Color Lab experts, renowned for their authority in color science, apply meticulous Mac color-tuning technology to BenQ MA series monitors to ensure high color consistency with MacBooks. According to test data, MA monitors closely match the MacBook Pro* regarding color gamut volume, area coverage, and color difference, providing users with a consistent color experience. (*The measurements were benchmarked against the MacBook Pro 13” M2 2022. While the results are ensured to be within a reasonable range, they do not represent identical measurement data for every MA model)

The MA270U’s gamut volume compared to the MacBook Pro has a gamut ratio of 96% and a gamut coverage of 95% under the CIE 1976 standard. (With an average color difference (dE2000) of 1.16)

The MA320U's gamut volume compared to the MacBook Pro has a gamut ratio of 97% and gamut coverage of 96% under the CIE 1976 standard. (With an average color difference (dE2000) of 1.40)

- Cinema mode impactful sounds.
- Game mode sound localization.
Please click and follow the instructions below, or read on to learn more about this topic.

Standard Mode:

Standard Mode is the default audio setting out of the factory, designed for everyday video viewing. It maintains vocal clarity and presence while enhancing the rhythm of music, ensuring perfect harmony between vocals and music.

Dialogue Mode:

Dialogue Mode is specifically designed to make human voices stand out. By reducing background noise interference, human vocals are brought to the forefront. Additionally, by taking advantage of sound field setting designs, it becomes much easier to clearly hear and easily distinguish voices in seminars, talk shows, or language learning programs.

Music Mode:

A mode designed for listening to live music concerts over extended periods. It adjusts the sound balance as well as the coordination between the high and mid-to-low frequency ranges to maintain a realistic, live audio quality.

Cinema Mode:

If speakers cannot properly convey impactful sounds like skillful action heroes, sorrowful tones in a horror scene, or the heroic presence of the protagonist, this weakens your cinema immersion. Referencing cinema sound and sound fields while preserving dialogue clarity, Cinema Mode allows you to fully immerse yourself both visually and auditorily in the film experience.

Game Mode:

Game Mode emphasizes sound localization, allowing gamers to clearly hear which direction enemies are coming from. It provides heightened sound detail so gamers can hear soft footsteps and identify enemy weapons. This makes it feel like they're really on the battlefield, easily attacking or defending.
