Knowledge CenterPlease refer to the following troubleshooting steps to fix Android TV connection issues.
1. Check if there’s any access restriction active on your Wi-Fi router
• If access restriction is active, please disable it in router settings and try to
re-connect to the Wi-Fi router by going to “Settings” > “Network
Internet”on Android TV.
• If there’s no access restriction active, please go to step 2.
2. Check if a network connection is available by restarting the Wi-Fi router
and Android TV by going to “Settings” > “Device Preferences” > “Reboot”

• If a connection is still not available, please go to step 3
3. Check if the latest dongle firmware is running on your Android TV by
going to “Settings” > “About” > “Build”
• You may refer to this video for more details:
• If you're not running the latest firmware, please update the dongle
firmware by connecting to another network
• If the latest firmware is installed, please go to step 4
4. Check if the connection to the mobile hotspot is working by going to
“Settings” > “Network & Internet” on Android TV
• If a connection is still not available, please reach out to the BenQ service
center in your area for further assistance
