Knowledge CenterStep 1. Check the specifications of your monitor and find out whether it comes with a built-in speaker.
Step 2. Make sure to plug and connect the correct port on the monitor.
a. If the headphone or external speaker is connected to your monitor, try to remove it.
b. For the output source via HDMI and DisplayPort, audio will transmit through HDMI and DisplayPort and USB-C cable.
Step 3. Check the sound settings on your computer (Windows/Mac)
Windows:
3.1 a. Go to Windows settings, select System, then click the sound option. Choose the output device from the monitor, then adjust the volume.
3.1 b. When you cannot find your monitor on the output device list, unplug and replug the cable.
Mac:
3.2 a. Go to Mac settings, then click the Sound option. Choose the output device from the monitor, then adjust the volume.
3.2 b. When you cannot find your monitor on the output device list, unplug and replug the cable.
Step 4. Check the volume settings of your monitor
Menu > Audio > Speaker
Step 5. If the program you are using (such as games, video software, or media player software) still cannot produce sound from the monitor's built-in speakers, please try restarting the program or restarting the operating system.
