Europe, 31st of August, 2004 – BenQ Europe has released firmware to upgrade its’ DVD+RW DW1600 to support – R/RW function, as promised, end of August. With this latest firmware, the DW1600 will be able to perform 16X DVD+R / 16X DVD-R writing and 4X DVD+RW / 4X DVD-RW rewriting. Furthermore, with the 2.4X DVD+R Double Layer, users now will have even more benefits and enjoyment from the DW1600.
